Chiron is one of the main planets I use in my chart readings. I focus on Chiron, the healing dwarf planet, and healer asteroids, Pluto, and the moon’s nodes. These point me to areas where you need to heal so you can live your life’s mission, your lunar north node in your natal chart.
On April 17, Chiron, a dwarf planet that takes approximately 50 years to orbit the sun, located between Saturn and Uranus, will move into Aries. If you are between the ages of 49-51 then you are having your Chiron return!
In mythology, Chiron was one of the wisest and justest centaurs because he was a healer, astrologer, and respected oracle. He was an unusual mythological creature too because, as a centaur the lower part of his body is a horse and the upper part human, but what makes him different is that he is often depicted with human front legs and horse back legs. He’s unusual.
What is really interesting about him is that his father was Saturn so there are qualities of Saturn that run through his blood.
His story is so sad! His father raped his nymph mother and then disappeared. His mother upon seeing him as a Centaur couldn’t accept him and he was then abandoned by her too. It’s here that the sun god, Apollo, stepped in and became a powerful mentor.
Later in Chiron’s life, Hercules accidentally wounds Chiron with an arrow that leaves a wound that can never heal. Chiron really suffered through all these emotional, mental, and physical pain throughout his life, BUT was able to be this amazing HEALER at the same time.
That is what true healing is all about. You are such a powerful healer when you have suffered so much because you can fully relate to another.
So, Chiron is moving into Aries until 2026 or 8 years.
What is Aries? The warrior, the entrepreneur, the fiery leader, that can use emotion and passion to rile you up. The courageous, energetic, and athletic one. Aries, since it is the first sign of the zodiac and represents the infant, can be selfish. They don’t mean it, they just didn’t think about how something would affect you. They want what they want and they don’t usually have patience to wait.
Chiron in Aries is going to take action. Now it is action on making your wounds worse or action on healing them. Isn’t that really one in the same? If the wounds get worse then aren’t you being propelled forward to destruction so you can be reborn in this lifetime or the next one to heal? Is Chiron going to thwart your courage or will, or heal it?
